Rejuvenating Lip
Balms
These are great
during those winter months when the cold is too harsh for your lips or the
summer during the intense heat. The ingredients chosen for this recipe are
based on their skin rejuvenating properties for damaged and dry skin.
Although the ingredients
are the same, the proportion of oils are different depending on whether you are
using lip balm pots or tubes.
For Filling Tubes

2 teaspoons beeswax
beads
-
1 tablespoon avocado
oil
-
1 tablespoon hazelnut
oil
-
1 teaspoon shea butter
-
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon
peppermint essential oil
For Filling Pots
Melt beeswax beads
and shea butter together. Add avocado oil, hazelnut oil and essential oil.
Depending on the recipe chosen, pour your mixture into either lip balm tubes
or pots. Immediately cap with lids and let cool completely. Makes
approximately 6 x 1/4 oz. lip balm pots or 6 lip balm tubes.
